COUNTY

The COUNTY is a microcomputer based instrument which counts axial and radial components on tape. With the SMD adaptor it can also count SMD components. It counts in both directions. It is equipped with a divider from 1 to 19 and a totalizer mode counting or Preset mode with an alarm that starts when the desired component number has been reached. The county is available in two version, one with a rechargeable battery (8301.054 & 8301.052) and the other one without battery (8301.053 & 8301.051).

AXIAL & RADIAL COMPONENTS 

The County comes ready to count axial & radial components. To count radial components, just remove the adjustable guide and turn it so the flat side will be in front of the optical head. This flat side will guide the body of the radial components.                    top

The support for axial and radial components (8301.023) is a very useful accessory when the components come in a reel. It is sold individually and a handle for it is available (8301.025).                                                                       top

SMD COMPONENTS

The SMD adaptor (8301.018) is a County accessory to count SMD parts. The maximum tape height is 56mm and the maximum number of hole for component is 10.
Mounting the adaptor does not require any tools and it is locked in place by snap action to the same shafts that hold the axial & radial guide. Component counting is achieved by counting the punched holes on the SMD tapes.
The SMD supports (8301.028) are sold individually and a handle is available (8301.030).                                                                                                                       top

This machine works in a simple way by counting the holes on the tape.
It can operate in two different ways:
Totalizer: components are counted from a zero reference, tape feed is motorized and the counter automatically stops at the tape end, to prevent loss of the total.
Preset mode: the desired component number is keyed on the keyboard and the counter automatically stops when it reaches the corresponding component.
All functions are easy to operate by the help of interactive messages on the display, while system status is monitored by means of leds near the command keys.
Motion control procedures are extremely simple, while special functions are grouped in a separate section on the keyboard in order to prevent operator errors.
The MEMORY function allows partial counting for the same component type, and MEMORY RECALL can show at any time the memory contents without loss of the actual counting data.
Step number indication (division factor) is always present, showed on a two digit display.
